I'm located in San Diego so depending on where you are in SoCal I could lend a hand.

Only problem is I've never done this before but I need to learn how seeing that my 3/2 lift will be on my doorstep in the next few days.

I ordered mine last week so I probably still have 2-3 more weeks before it comes. I live in huntington beach, I was born in San Diego though. I can get to Sea World in about an hour and 5 minutes, so you can use that as reference for how far I am from you.

I won't probably upgrade tire size until I need new tires, which will be another 20K miles (and probably 2 years). This is one of the reasons I chose the 2/1 instead of the 3/2.

Also just washed my car, and it looks even nicer =D

Ok, not to far away. Well let me know if you need help when it comes in. I know there has to be other people in SoCal that have a spacer lift needing to be installed. Hopefully we can get a wrench party and do this all at the same time. Save us all some time and money.

Just curious why you didn't get an OME suspension ( shock and springs ) instead of spacer lift ? I never noticed you had an SR5 which are a lot easier to contend with suspension altering than one with XREAS . If I didn't have the XREAS or pulled it off for some reason I would just do springs and shocks.

By the way the new stance looks great !!! Does it seem level or a slight nose down or high . Hard to tell since it seems to be parked on a slope down. I can wait to see it with bigger tires . What size are you going with ? Which brand ?

I went with the spacer lift because I'm on a budget and I didn't want to lift it too much.. for now. The reason being that I don't want to have to buy new tires now and I didn't want it to look funny.

It seems pretty darn level. I'm always looking at it everyday to determine level-ness. From what I can tell, the lines of the truck aren't parallel (window lines, running board, top outline, etc.) and from measurements, its raked slightly to the front, so I'm happy.

When I buy tires, it will really depend. If I were to buy now, I'd probably go with Revo's 65/70/17's. But, I probably wont need new tires for 2+ years. By then, I'm probably going to have bought another vehicle (finally Engineering School should have paid off, might get a 350z), and if that's the case, I'll probably put more agressive tires, most likely BFG AT T/A's 75/75/17's.

I think you should go with bigger tires now.... maybe it's just the pics, but your tires look too small, especially the front tire. A 70 series tire will probably fix it though.

I agree , look into some Nitto TG , 265/70/17 , they are supposed to be good and very reasonable priced compared to the GY SA's , BFG AT , Revo , ect....

I have 265/70/17 on mine without a lift so clearance for you should not be a problem.

Yes, why do you ask? I'm not going with bigger tires on my 4Runner, especially since I don't need them with just a 1" front leveling lift.

IMO, the 70-series tires only look good when you have a minimum of a 2/1 lift.
