I get my 2002 Limited in a few days

I'm a complete n00b when it comes to 4Runners but am stoked. I don't have a clue how to mod everything out like you guys do; but I'm looking to do at least a few things to make my runner 'fit' to hit the hills here in Colorado.

A couple questions and please point me to some well talked about threads from the past that might answer them:

1. What are a few key mods I should consider/think about when gearing up to run forest roads in the rockies? (don't wanna crawl on the western slope)

2. What shouldn't I do with my runner because its an 02 limited (auto,cd locker, etc.) - thanks to Ripcords buyers guide and links I'm at least learning.

3. I'm not very handy in the garage; so any leads on folks here in Denver area that I should see and pay to help with these mods -- would be GREAT! (i'll trade you with system/network security mods_)

There are several of us from the metro area and around Colorado with build threads. Just take a look through all the build threads and find something you like.

1. Forest roads need hardly any prep. Maybe some more aggressive AT tires, but that's about it.

2. Not really much you shouldn't do, other than break it or sell it.

3. I'm up in Westminster and can give a hand when needed. Lots of guys around to help with that stuff.
