I have a Scion HU and want to install XM, what do I need?

As the subject says, I've already installed the Scion head unit and would like to install the equipment needed for an XM account. My wife got the XM in her Honda Accord, we both like it, and I can add a second receiver to the account for 7 bucks more per month. So, I'd like to do this, but am not sure of what exactly I need to complete my installation.

You will need to purchase the Scion XM radio kit (which has a retail price of around $450) The install is easy to do yourself. Don't pay to have it put in. I mounted the antenna right inside the rear right roof rack base, ran the antenna inside the tailgate and tucked it in the headliner up to the b-pillar, down the b-pillar.

Then I mounted the receiver box under the passenger seat, then ran the wiring harness up the console to the back of the radio. Took all of 1 1/2 hours. You'll be taking apart quite a bit of the interior, but it's easy. Just be careful and the pieces will be fine. Let me know if you need any other help with this issue.

Or you could use the CD changer port and buy your own XM receiver for much cheapier; if you are not using that port.

Is the CD-changer port that 2nd antena plug-in port in the back of the Scion radio? I'm much more interested in the cheaper route, $450 is more than I can afford to put into a leased vehicle.

If you have any more info, I'd appreciate it.

Is there an interface that can be used with the Toyota or Scion Single CD HU that would allow XM useage with such as the Terk Commander or Roady2. Not having to use cassette or FM Modulator????
