I have Icons and Scott at Icon has been amazing in the customer service department. My icons are not adjustable (less stuff to break), but the ride is awesome for the weight I have on my truck and how I use it.

I really hope I feel the same. I like the on road highway feel of the XREAS, it’s so amazingly flat and planted driving I70. I was really close to taking you up on your offer of a ride in yours to see what it felt like. (I’m Audi Tech, but after months of not being able to get ahold of the admin to change user name since I haven’t been an Audi tech in a while now that I just made a new one.)

Oh nice, didn’t realize that was you! I feel like my suspension does great on I70, the stiffer springs don’t hurt I’m sure. You will enjoy it, Kings would be my choice if I wasn’t cheap.
Let me know if you’ll be in south Denver at some point, let’s grab a beverage.

Where did you find the Bilsteins? I can't seem to find them online.
I’ll definitely post photos, likely will be in January as the 6112’s are on backorder.
Several of our vendors on this site sell them, I purchased from another vendor that I’ve previously done business with as I had a returning customer coupon code. The 6112’s are on backorder until late December or early January though.

I in the same boat, or similar.
I don't hate the stock XREAS on the road, it drives fine. I would like to raise the truck a couple inches and level it. It would be nice to have a bit more off road capabilities while I'm at it so not interested in a spacer lift.
At this point, I'm thinking of just waiting till the new Fox TRD suspension becomes available. Seems that the OE ride will probably be closer to what I'm looking for and hoping that I will be able to increase the ride height by 2" rather than just 1".

OEM Fox is just a 1" lift, would require a spacer to achieve 2". Based on the Tacoma oem FOX cost, you are looking at 3k bucks or so.

Thanks for the information, this seems costly based on the competition current offerings. You can get a Fox 2.5 kit for ~$2200 that allows you to raise your truck as much as you want.
Hmm, certainly has me re-thinking my options.
Seems to be a hole in the market for a nice, smooth suspension that will offer a bit better off road performance. I'm sure there is a product out there, just haven't found it yet.

Actually it depends on whether you have KDSS. If yes, the common thought is that you want a progressive shock (King, Fox, Radflo).

you are correct. I'm running king shocks w/ king springs up front and kings shocks w/ toytec superflex springs in the rear with KDSS.
Also I wanted to point out, Kings are blingy as heck, which can be good or bad depending on where you live.
