I need help she's way to tight!

Hey so today I installed my roger brown 1" lift kit. And everything went almost according to plan. Couldn't get the steering extension in at the beginning so I left it till the end. Got everything installed and completely forgot about the steering until I went to drive and the steering was extremely tight. Went back to instructions and it said that I didn't need to add the extension piece and that all I had to do was loosen up the bolts a bit. Well that didn't sound to sturdy so I decided I was going to put the extension in anyways. Went under and unscrewed the two nuts but the bolts wouldn't budge. You can even see the two rubber pieces stretched because of the lift but I couldn't get it apart. Anyone had this happen or know what to do?

Ha.... About that. Hit one of the screws a couple times and no luck and now the nut won't go back on! But from the pics I'm doing it correctly right? The steps were vague so the whole time I was doing this I was doubting myself.
 
I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on installing body lifts... I've never installed one. I just get a kick out of the thread titles you guys come up with sometimes.

I do feel your pain though, it really sucks when you can't get your nut on.

cj80 is right....

You've un-done the wrong nuts. Do the other 2 that are 90* from the ones you did. You can put the ones you already did back on after you do the other two.

Also, notice that slip yolk? You can undo that nut if you need to, to get it to slide down some and relieve some of the tension. I would definetly lube the crap out of everything as well. (PB Blaster).

x2 the ones you loosened are just the locating dowels and not the bolts that hold the joint together. Also at the very top there is a bolt horizontal, loosen that up and it can slide a little.

Alright update. Tried to put nut on bolt that I wasn't suppose to unscrew and no luck. Bolt seems pretty stuck in place. Any down side to leaving this nut off? Also tried to loosen up correct bolts and no luck there either. Couldn't find pb blaster but found liquid wrench still didnt budge. I might not be able to take it in till Saturday is it bad to drive runner in this condition? Am I putting components under a lot of stress? As always thanks for your help.

i wouldt drive with it with the nuts off, cuz if the steering shaft popped out then you got no steering at all. from the look of the picture you've missed a nut and if the bolts and nuts wont go back on just go to the store and get some grade 8 bolts
 
But the bolts won't budge at all I've put a plate under it and hit it with a hammer still nothing. And the other 2 (the ones I need to take off) won't budge either.
 
Did you try loosening the slip yoke? You've got a lot of tension on that joint now which is going to fight you. PB Blaster, Liquid Wrench....I use Krown KP 53, FWIW. It doesn't matter as long as it's a penetrating oil not a lubricating oil,and you give it time to "creep" in.
Anyways, loosen the slip yoke, get the steering coupler back to a more flat position and try those nuts/bolts again. Worst case scenario, you may have to pull all but the very rear lift blocks out to drop the body back down.
