but now idk why but after i changed it when i drive and let go of the gas it drops into a lower gear. then i turn the car off. wait a lil and it goes fine.. so its like a glitch.. if anyone could help plz do!
Allow me to translate:
The car is a '93 3-VZE 4WD with 70k miles.
He put in a new differential and axles, along with "everything else" . After putting all of this stuff on, whenever he takes his foot off the gas, the car downshifts. If he turns the car off and waits, it seems to fix itself.
There, that wasn't so hard, was it?
Now, what we need from you still:
Is this an automatic or a manual? It sounds like an automatic from the description, but I can't be certain.
What
exactly did you change out? Front differential? Rear differential? Both? Rear axles? Front axles? Both? What is "basically everything"?
When you stop the car and re-start it later, does it work perfectly with no downshifting problem, or does it continue to do this? Does the problem only occur after a cold start?
Honestly though, this sounds like something you should take to a mechanic (preferably a transmission specialist) for a diagnosis. It's pretty hard to pinpoint a problem like this over the internet. Most likely, you screwed something up in your installation, but with all the work that you did, there are a thousand different things that could be wrong.
