Ok first off i would like to thank everybody in advance these fourms are very helpful and any help i recieve will be very appreciated. So here's my problem, i have a 2nd gen 93 4runner v6 3vze that i bought of a very shady seller. I've put alot of work into it already but it still hasn't ran right. I figured out that the exhaust valves on #3 and #4 made contact with the piston from the timing belt getting put of time due to a ball bearing from the idler falling out and getting bewteen the cam gear and the timing belt. I am in the process of replacing the heads and i just pulled the intake and have a puddle of oil sitting ontop of the block about a 1/2 inch deep which seems like a big fire hazard to me. I was hoping some might know where it might have came from so i can fix it while im already in the motor. I may be able to post pictures later if i can figure out how to later. Again any help would be greatly appreciated thank you for your time.
