Hi. I just bought my first toyota, a 93 runner with the 3slow and the auto. When it's "cold" (it never gets cold in vegas) it is hard to start and when it does it runs like it's only running on 3 cylinders, some times tapping the throttle only makes it run quicker but still not correctly but then i will turn it off and start it again and tap the throttle again and it runs great. After it runs correctly i can turn it off and restart and it runs fine. (don't know how long it takes to develope the hard start, over night?). Some back story, after buying it I did a full tune-up= oil, oil filter, air cleaner, fuel filter, cap, rotor, wires, plugs and new battery. What should i look at?

If it's hard to start when stone cold I would check/replace the 'Cold Start Valve'.

still baffled

I went out today and it started right up, I didn't touch anything yesterday. I really want to love my new Toy but I don't think I will.
