What is the overall consensus on this bumper? I've had ARB in the past and like the quality. I'm not into the chopped up "look at my "control arms" bumpers. The FB post also says "we need to move product to make room for in coming" Do they not make these themselves?

These guys are down the freeway from me. That's both a good and bad thing depending on if you ask me or my wife. It's a good looking bumper. I prefer it without the hoops but, they make great high quality stuff with a high degree of craft. I do know they're busy and are always working on new lines. They may just need the shelf space.

Thank you. I like the hoops to protect from hitting small trees in my area. What about the D ring locations? Can you tug and tug on those locations without deforming the front bumper?

I know a lot of FJ guys with DO bumpers and never seen anyone bend their bumper yet.

Much nicer bumper then arb.
 
I don't have a DO bumper (yet) but I have looked closely at them both on and off FJs, 4runners, and Tacomas. They are a top notch product with clean lines and extra gussets wherever they can put them. I would assume they can hold their own when push comes to shove. This sale is tempting.......
 
Domello front bumper production protoype

I saw an early development of the Domello front bumper in mid-January when I was out there to pick up my rock sliders. I posted a few photos of the back side of the bumper under "5th Gen/What did you do in with your 5th Gen today", on page 897. This link should lead to the post:

It shows all the internal gussets. This was a pre-production prototype so the final product may be a little different. Also shown is the shop, some of their talented welders, sales manager Daniel and a bumper for a Tacoma.
 
I ordered mine in late December, revived my bumper about a month ago and just revived my mounting hardware and filler plate yesterday. Very pleased with the bumper. The filler plate for gap under the headlights looks like it's going to take some work (grinding/shaping ect.) I have seen the other aftermarket bumpers, I feel like the DO bumper is as good if not better than the others at considerably less weight than any other steel set up. I mounted a Superwinch tigershark synthetic 9500 in mine. I did have to get the selonoid relocation kit because the winch as-is wound not fit in the bumper. Access to the free-spool lever is good through the front of the bumper and if I was ever stuffed nose down I could access it from under the hood as well. I put the winch control plus in the front grill for access. Understand DO is a small shop and you have to get on them sometimes about getting your products shipped but they make quality gear. I would definitely order from them again.

We do offer a fill plate for both the 2010-2013 and the 2014-2016. If you are looking for a factory finish we would suggest saving the money and cutting your factory front bumper. We do offer a fill plate but like a aftermarket fender you will have to re-work it to fit perfect. For those that want a perfect fit but don't want to cut their factory bumper we are actually working on a carbon fiber piece that would do the same thing as a fill plate. But it will be a higher end piece around 250-300 retail.

Not yet, little rattle can black and it blends right in. Probably on the list of things to do but $200 to move a plastic bottle is a little steep. Probably try and rig something up myself.
