There is always something to say about going the extra mile. I try to give great customer service, and great prices for all the work that I do in my shop. While the food and candy is a great idea, it can come back and bite you. The last dealership I worked at was giving out donuts and snacks on Saturdays. One time a kid got sick and the mom blamed it on the free food. Turns out the dad was a liar...I mean lawyer and sued the dealership. We never gave away snacks again, and they even stopped the free coffee for a while.

As for the merchandise like the Carabiner and the t-shirts, I do have some t-shirts that I occasionally give away. Those things do bite into the budget though big time, and being a smaller town business, things like that add up fast.

I'm stoked to have stickers to send out with my racks, thanks to [MENTION=165]momo.75[/MENTION]! we don't eat candy in our house so i guess i could send some of my wife's 100 calorie packs of fake snack cookies lol. I ordered a chip for my F250 and they sent me a sweet pen AND a sticky notepad AND a sticker!
