I think I saw a redesigned tundra yesterday morning

This truck is kind of growing on me. When I first saw it I just kind of rolled my eyes, but now I'm more interested. I would take this truck over the Dodge Ram Mega Cab.

I've seen the spy shots and it looks kind of like a larger version of the Taco which is a good thing. Who knows, i'm a truck guy, this might be my next vehicle. I'm intrigued by the hybrid option. Do any of you guys think it will actually get good gas mileage (maybe 25 mpg?)?????

I think it would be safe to assume that the hybrid version could achieve 25mpg. I doubt it will be getting 40 or anything crazy, but I would think 25 or a bit more should be realistic.....we'll see I guess

Wow, I like it!!! Before I got my 05 4Runner, it came down to the Taco and the 4Runner. If that Tundra was out last year, it would have complicated my decision process

The race to offer the biggest pick-up is frightening to me. As a motorcycle rider, I already live in fear of sloppy driving, cell phone talking, soccer moms in their H2s and Suburbans. I understand that manufacturers need to accommodate the ever increasing numbers of morbidly obese Americans, but this is becoming ridiculous. Have you been in a parking garage lately? It is becoming impossible to find a spot to park where either a H2 or a fat PU won't dent the side of my 4Runner. Few drivers of these rigs are willing to focus on their driving sufficient to maintain any sort of driving lane discipline. The Paul Bunion sized Dodge PU ad on TV sent me over the edge. Why does some fat f***er need to drive something that big to the office or mall?

I'm wondering why this thread popped up on my list of pages to view since my last visit 7 days ago? The last post in here was back in November 2005.

Anyways, I've been popping off about my dislikes of the 4Runner and my eagerness for the 2008 Sequoia. Now it looks as if I will be waiting for the 2009 hybrid version of this Tundra concept 4X4 truck. You know this thing is going to cost somewhere between 50K-65K by 2009.

I'm thinking about replacing my Taco with the new Tundra. If the production model looks this Bad Ass it will be a little easier to let the Taco go.
