I traded my 11 trail for a land cruiser and am sad

Those are Michelin LTX truck and SUV tires. Those are the gold standard tires. Long lasting (~100k miles) and comfortable.

What kind of "upgrade" are you contemplating?

Haven't thought about it yet, first I need some shocks and struts

Thanks guys I really struggled with the decision. I hope it works out. After I test drove the vehicle there was a couple waiting at the dealership to look it over. I had to make a quick decision, but given the price, great condition and complete maintenance records I took the plunge quicker than I normally would

I also have a '00 LC, great rigs. Check out IH8MUD.com on the 100 series section for more info on them. Lots of guys here have both, you really can't go wrong with a Yota. These hundy's will last a long, long time if you do basic maintenance. Perfect overland rig.

How much did they give you that for? Ive done many used cars for awhile and had no issues with it all.. I hope she checks out fine motor wise and I could see you lasting for another 5 -6 years if you maintain her properly.

If you haven't already, make your way over to ih8mud.. amazing community with tons of info. The 100 series cruiser is the cream of the crop in my opinion (less the torsion bar suspensions).. I'm sure you've already recognized that for yourself though .

$10k excellent service history records, all preventive maintenance done, timing belt, water pump replaced, brakes done, ALL fluids except brake fluids changed in the past couple of years

That is one nice truck. You came out ahead I believe. Only downside is it is 11 years older than your T4R. Baby it, take good care of it, and when it's time to sell it, get another 4R. The LC will always be in high demand.
