I want a Shoreline Blue Trail Edition

Wow, the only shoreline blue Gen 5 Runners I’ve seen have all been Limiteds. This one looks great, though I would like to see the Trail (or TRDOR) wheels on it.

Adventure Motors seems to do a good job of stockpiling the best examples of OG 4Runners
those are trail wheels on it.
That car is a gem.
1-owner, california car (means there shouldn't be any rust), looks totally stock.
If someone is looking for a 10-13 trail, buy that one right now.

There is a Trail edition Shoreline just up the street from me, damn fine blue that is, damn fine
Damn that is pretty. My budget is 4th gen though, but I sure like the 5th gen looks, especially the interior console and dash

You probably know already that you are looking for a “unicorn” as all 2010-13 TEs are… and especially if you looking for a particular color… it took me 18 month to find mine (was set on silver TE with KDSS).
The one posted by “themaestro” is a gem! California car = no rust, one owner, looks clean, etc… just not sure if anything specifically is different in the emission system as it is California car… I would research that.

X2, the FJ Cruiser version of these wheels are grey with a machined lip, I've got a set on my '15 Limited.

Don't assume that. I just recently stumbled into a 2012 TE in Shoreline Blue. Although it has more miles (129k) and no KDSS it was a 2 owner with every oil change and service documentation from Toyota. I paid less than what some clean 4th gens are listed for. I know I got lucky but wasn't even looking. Good luck

Shoreline Blue was for Trail and Limited only. Maybe get a Limited, put 17 inch wheels on it and black out the chrome.
True. Im stuck in over analyzing hell currently between 4th and 5th Gen anyways, and haven't decided. Then I need to figure out which model/engine. Lol

Having owned both the 4th & 5th Gen, I say you can't go wrong either way. There are some little things I prefer on the 5th, and some on the 4th. IMO the biggest advantage the V6 4th Gen has is the multi-mode transfer case. I really wish that was available in the 5th Gen; 4H with center diff unlocked is so useful here in CO.
