Yup no packing, initially I didn't mind the drone. But over time it gets annoying, except when romping on it! But I usually drown it out with music, except when I have the wife in the truck. Especially then it gets old.

i have gotten used to the drone. kinda just null to me now. but i do always have music on.

i was thinking about getting a K&N but have heard some bad things bout them how much did you spend?

the filter was $17 from amazon....pipe i had...and i have a welder...so it was an inexpensive project...as was the muffler...it was only $65.
