Icon lift help

Hey i am hoping someone can help me out. I just picked up my 14 trail from the dealer after having them put in a stage 1 lift and was told that the front coilovers come pre-set at a 3" lift and that they didnt order the spanner wrench to adjust for this reason. is this true? I have a very noticable lean to the left about 1/2" with an empty tank

also if any one with a 3 inch lift feels like measuring the thread space between top plate and adjustment collar to confirm that would help me

The lean is a well documented concern, however I have no info about your lift concerns.

If you search for 'lean' in the forum you'll see a few threads addressing exactly what your describing.

My Icon kit came set to about 2.5". (4th gen) Measuring the tread to wheel well only helps if you're running same size tires.

The wrench is only $20. I'd pick one up and play with it until you're happy. However, it will need to be aligned after making adjustments.

An3donia, There is a post about measuring your suspension height here: http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/94578-okki-s-build-thread-7.html#post1335626 That thread also has my measurements in there.

If you have a set of LARGE Allen wrenches, you can use those to make the adjustments as well (they just need to fit the holes in the collar as tight as possible.

That should let you make some adjustments while you get your Icon wrench delivered.

Hope this helps.
