Anyone have experience with one? When adding in tax & shipping it runs about $115

Fit - Finish - Functionality?

Are there similar products from other vendors?

I considered both and will recieve the expedition essentials bracket tomorrow. The ics fab unit looks ok i guess but by the time you add a power outlet its about what and what on pricing. I think the expedition essential set up looks better and stronger.

I have the ICS Fab mount and absolutely love it. It’s sturdy and looks like it came that way from the dealership. I also like being able to see the clock. I have just the ram mount phone holder on there now but will eventually get an iPad holder and midland radio to throw up there. No regrets but it’s great that you’re exploring all options.

The Expedition Essentials T4RPAM is also worth checking out: Toyota 4 Runner 5th Gen Powered Accessory Mount with Wiring Cover – Expedition Essentials

It's more expensive than the ICS and is currently out of stock until 4/30, but I think it's a cleaner looking mount and it includes a 4.8amp charger.

All that work and you lose the factory clock. It's even worst if you have the AMD aka Accessory Meter Display. I ended up getting the ICS fab dash mount instead.

I ordered the 5th Gen Model last Wednesday but other than their email robot confirming the order I've not heard a peep out of ICS

Remove your head unit
Position the ICS tray on the dash where you want it
Mark the four holes in the dash
Drill the four holes
Use long machine screws, nylocks and fender washers
Mount the ICS unit, don’t overtighten the nuts
Reinstall your head unit

ICS Fab did finally issue just a "peep". Only after I sent an email asking for an update whenever they were working in the office.

I received an email Saturday afternoon saying they were "processing most orders this weekend" and that I should expect a tracking number yesterday or today... but nothing has been sent to me.

Not feeling good about their ability to deliver .

They'll deliver, just be patient padowan….got mine and am just waiting on more parts for my cb before I install.

Received mine probably a week from ordering. Looks solid, waiting for time to actually installing it!!!

Does anyone know where I can get another rubber grommet in that size? Wanted to drill another hole for a different cable on the other side.

I have a 10 day trip coming up and I thought I would have already received and installed the mount by now. I don't want to be in a rush to get it installed on the night before the trip. I already have the other parts for USB power outlets, RAM mounts and so on. Just the actual ICS Fab bracket is missing.

Note that I had no communications with them until I took the initiative, emailed them and inquired as to why I had not heard anything. Late last night they finally generated a USPS label & number but the actual package is still not in the hands of USPS.
