Idea for a pull out table?

Looking for ideas for a small pull out shelf/table for the rear of my 2002. It doesn’t have to span the entire width, but big enough to pull out at the beach or trail to hold a cutting board/drinks/etc. Anything out there?

This was from a 4th gen but it is one idea that might work for you:
Yay! Finally a solid tailgate to sit/work on.

On my last trip with my dad I got to thinking how helpful a "tailgate" would be on his Sequoia. So I'm noodling on some ideas for a light weight platform with a slide out table/tables for that rig. Leaning towards something simple like a piece of 3/8" plywood with 3/4" risers along the sides/middle and 1/2" plywood tables that slide out from under platform. Maybe a leveling leg depending on how the table slides are attached.

Looks like I’m going to DIY something similar to the sliding cargo tray on newer 4Runners. Before I pull up carpet, what would be the best way to secure the sliding rails to the floor? Are there existing holes I could use with bolts, or would I need to drill into the body?

Unless you're going for more of the overlander coolness fad, I'd do something like these and be done with it. Cheap, simple, easy, and can be used other than in the back of the 4runner

Probably not what you're going for exactly but I stuffed a Honda CRV table under my roof rack. Can deploy it in 30 seconds.
