Ideas needed

So I have a 1999 4runner limited and I want to add some stuff to it make it look off road worthy and more "badass" so to speak but nothing to expensive just little stuff and I need some ideas

1. Lose running boards
2. Add 2-3" lift
3. Add appropriate size tires for lift
4. Hit the dirt

Have you looked at ANY of the build threads on his board?

My suggestion would be to start there.....

This also depends on whether you are doing the work, how mechanically inclined you are, and what you consider cheap.

My monstaliner paint job was cheap for a paint job at 500 bucks or so.
