Identify this connection please

Under the hood today, 2020....this plug beside the drl/high beam lamp. There is one on both pass and driver side.
Curious what it goes to.

Not the turn signal...the turn signal is toward the outside of the vehicle, this inboard from the high beam....I'm thinking maybe an airbag sensor or something

I don't know exactly what its purpose is but when I unplug it the low beam bulb is disabled.

Just a tip, anything to do with the SRS (airbag) system is color coded yellow.

I'm sorry but I don't know what that plug does though.

I don't know about the various options, but does your vehicle have oncoming headlight sensing? Or perhaps some other sensor there?

auto high beam sensor is in windshield at rear view mirror, but it may be the TSS, and active cruise sensor....i may unplug it and see what dash warnings light up.

no, these are way inboard....and they are defintly not lights.

Did you try unplugging it and seeing what doesn't work? Like I said above, I unplugged mine and it caused the low beam to be disabled.

i know on my 2017 the low beam bulb was connected with a connector inside and a short extension to exactly where you have that connector. that should be the low beam..

There will be nothing other than lights plugged into the headlamp assy. No sensors for anything in the headlights. It has to be a bulb.

Low beam as in the Daytime Running Lights, right?

This is the low voltage connection to the halogen bulb. The halogen bulb acts as the DRL and also as the high beam. The connection next to it is the higher voltage high beam/brights for dark roads. So both connections go to one halogen bulb. This is my hypothesis.

The projector beam is more outboard.

Ahhhh...very sneaky...can't see that when it's installed.
