If you could paint your 4runner ANY color..

figured this would be a good topic, im disgusted with the paint condition of my black 2000 sr5, so many fine scratches and chips, ive been talking to a buddy of mine who paints hotrods and contemplating on a respray, im thinking about this lexus green, but what would you guys paint your trucks?:noidea:

I always liked this color green. It is not to bold but looks good also.

I've also been pondering the idea of a repaint. Though most of my truck's paint is in fair condition, the roof, hood and fairings, along with almost all the door edges have seen better days. I like that green but I've been considering one of these:

Though I know I'd probably have to report the color change to DOT so if it's too much of a hassle, I'll just have it resprayed the original color.

that tundra color is sick! i like the venza's brown/ rootbeer that was similar to that, it had alot of flake to it

Ended up going with the original Evergreen Pearl, and I love it.

I would retain the stock color, but that's just me. If I were repainting a 4Runner I would have to do the door jambs and engine bay, otherwise it doesn't look right to me. But hey, if you like it then by all means go for it.

Since it's black, you really wouldn't need to paint the engine bay and doing the jams isn't really that hard. As for color, I'm a big fan of the army green they used on the fj's. The orange metallic they used on the scion could also be cool.

I love the drastic change in hue in different lights.

I would never change colors on a car unless it was full interior, exterior and engine bay respray though.

My dad paints our classic hot rods and we've been pondering this topic for my 4Runner. Either a nice Lexus pearl black or a pearl white. ( thinking about taking out the engine etc to match everything.

Matte black, less speeding tickets and stuff. Also it looks amazing, saw a fully matte black tundra with blacked out lights and tinted windows.

I am actually in the process of getting mine ready for paint.

I definitely dont wont a dark color and want to stay with a traditional Toyota color. I also want something different than want everone else has.

I am pretty set on the 2013 FJ tan (Quicksand) Not something you see on a
4runner

But I am digging that Lexus green I might change my mind and steal that color from you.
