Like OP, mine is also Midnight Metallic Black. It looks nice when it's clean, which happens when it rains. I live far from paved roads so washing it is futile.
If I were to repaint it it would be Rustoleum desert camo.

I’m more than welcome to change anything and everything about a vehicle I paid 50k for. If my posts bother your rectum this much then I suggest you either: get a life, get laid, stop being a pushover irl so you can stop trying to be a tough guy on the internet, and/or crawl back into the crab hole you sprung from.

Claiming a proper paint job is 20K is disingenuous unless you’re thinking I live in NYC or Los Angeles. Even there it’s not that much.

I would take in to a shop who does paint correction and then have it ceramic coated. I did that to my midnight black metallic 2-1/2 years ago and it looks great. Easy hand wash and it looks better than new every wash.

You have to take the panels off and disassemble everything, and that takes time and man hours. I doubt anyone will do it for less than 12-15k.

You can get a ghetto Maaco spray for 699 and post it for us.

I assume you’re not trolling and genuinely interested in respraying the truck to a color of your own liking, and I’m just telling you you are going to be disappointed unless you spend a shit ton of money... or happen to own a paint and body shop.

My mother had a Yukon with the black GM Obama ecoshit paint that came off if you looked at it wrong because it wasn’t formulated right to make the EPA happy. She had the roof redone under warranty, and I think it was like $4000 to properly strip and repaint the roof the OEM color.

I’m just telling you you can do it cheap or you can do it right.

Edit: The truck had to go back to the body shop twice because they didn’t reinstall the roof rack, shark fin, and sunroof properly.

I'm about to get mine professionally repainted because the midnight black with purple glitter is getting on my nerves. Thanks Uncle Sam! It won't cover the whole price but it's a chunk out of it for sure.

Roger that...here is the Maaco paint job. People don't give these guys enough credit. I'm sure some had had bad experiences, but for the money...this is a good option. A $12-15K paint job? Might as well buy a good used 4R for that kind of money.
