If you won the Lotto, what mods would you do to your 5th Gen?

I was thinking about this the other day. If I suddenly became a millionaire, would I keep my 5th Gen? What would I do to it?

I WOULD keep mine. First I would buy a brand new FJ "parts truck" and swap out the manual tranny. I would throw in a Lexus V8, and a small lift. 285's with some sweet wheels, that I would personally design. I would have it painted Timberland Mica. Kickin stereo- not too flashy- would be next. Then, I would have custom aluminum skidplates made, and Elockers installed. Stainless steel roof rack, with a camper attachment. I would get someone to put in a switch to turn on ALL my overhead frickin lights, including my custom cargo area lights, and my fogs would come on whenever I wanted- with the factory switch. I would have shrockworks stainless rockrails. I would probably hire Harper7(if that's OK with him) because he's ahead of my curve. I would buy another 4runner just like mine to drive in the meantime...I would NEVER be done............but it would be fun!

I'd keep it! Nothing too flashy, just...

- All the cool LED light mods/additions that Antman and I have discussed
- 285/70/17 BFG All Terrain T/A KOs (E rated)
- MotoMetal 951 Black 17" Wheels
- TRD CAI
- All TRD accessories (radiator caps, etc.)
- TRD badge for the grille!
- Borla exhaust system
- Satoshi Grille mod
- Thule Crossbars
- Thule Moab Cargo Basket
- Grandiose aftermarket stereo and speakers
- Headrest DVD players
- Fancy trailer for my new 2011 Harley Davidson Fat Boy Lo (with $2000 worth of mods done to it)
- Pay someone to do the paint job I want on the chrome parts
- Buy a parcel of land to build my own personal garage man cave with flat screens and awesome tools (Antman gets a key)

And then buy a Lamborghini Gallardo to drive, so when I get bored with it, i have the never-ending high of driving my 4Runner!

I would keep it, and replace the motor/transmission with the 3.0 diesel from the Prado /w the center diff etc. making it full time 4wd. Then I would pretty much copy what they did to the back country project. I love the way that thing looks

Then I would buy a Land Crisuer or LX 570 as my daily ride keeping it completely stock and using the 4Runner as the play toy.

If I won the lotto I'd probably never drive my 4runner again. I like it, but it wouldn't be my first choice for an SUV if money wasn't an object.

Why would you want the 4.7L? It is old tech compared to the UR engines (5.7L and 4.6L).

I'd do trail exterior, slight lift, front and rear air lockers, a baja rack, and some nice, simple black wheels. Nothing crazy. More than likely, though, I'd give it to my dad or brother and buy a new Land Cruiser and an old FJ40 Land Cruiser for roof off fun.

Yup SAS for sure plus 3 link in the rear or 4. 37" tires...Plus the 5.7 Litre from the tundra, supercharded, exo-cage, projector conversion, repaint the truck, leather interior...

First of all, I would like to note that I would not get rid of my t4r, and I would buy the side of a mountain in Colorado somewhere.

For the runner:

F/R air lockers
Nasty aftermarket stereo
DVD screen in the back
Lift and 285s on new wheels
Engine mods for power
TE trim
Sliders
Budbuilt skids
Hidden winch w/ driving lights on each side
Dual battery kit
Seat memory
Fix the dang rear wiper somehow
Get rid of brake assist!!!
Install button to bypass all VSC, et al
Redirect muffler to go to the side for doggie
Relocate USB port
Black out some of the chrome
LED tail lights, reverse lights, and possibly headlights (or HIDs)
Install lights inside of Baja Rack fairing and wrap with carbon fiber
Install switch on dash to operate rear dome lights and cargo lights
And surely many more things...

There some people on here who seem to have already won the lotto!

Yeah, I'd definitely look into an Icon. I would, though, have to request that they keep that Chevy engine out of my "Toyota". 1GR-FE or 1UR-FE will do.
