my drivers side door lock actuator went out on me about a 3 weeks ago.

i did my searches, and found that this is sort of a common issue...with the button-fob locking mechanism. for now, i just lock the door via the hard-key, which of course locks all of the other doors, and then push the button to activate the alarm system.

when i am in it, a simple finger push, IF i remember, locks the door while i am driving.

hey, if i wanted an electronic car, i would have bought a Tesla...thumbing and/or key-turning to lock a car door isnt that big a deal for me.
