Ive been researching how to correct inaccurate speedometers and found this on youtube i just dont know whether our trucks have digital or manual speedos. I started researching this recently:

You can buy a Speedohealer that will do the same function. I think its like a $100 or so, for those of us who don't want to build a circuit board.

I only have +1 tires but my speedo is only off by +2mph at 70mph so I just am aware of that and being off by that little isn't going to bother me.

yeah with inch taller, my GPS is damn close to the speedo at freeway speeds. I would have to go a LOT taller tire before I was super worried about it myself. but its always good to have options for the people with those size tires.

So will this work with gears too? If its just correcting the signal to the speedo, I don't see why it wouldn't.

I'll probably just go with the Dakota Digital one for 90 bucks.

Interested in this because since I went from stock 15's to 265/75/16, my speedometer is off 3 MPH for every 30 MPH the speedometer says (ex, 30 MPH on speedometer is actually 33 MPH on GPS, 60 MPH speedometer reads around 66 MPH on GPS and so on)

That is weird cause mine is backwards of that. When I am going 75 onGPS, it reads 78-79 on speedo.

moving up a tire size definately makes your speedo read slower then before....

My speedo is actually pretty spot on, at 70 MPH it is only 2MPH off

Meanwhile my moms 2010 Camry reads 5MPH low at every speed
