illuminating rear window switch???

why wouldn't the arrows on the window switch be illuminated? I don't get it? the up and down arrows don't light up, kinda irks me, I want to light them up, can it be done? has it been done?

check ur fuse panel u probably blew a fuse

sorry i did not specify, the middle is illuminated, the arrows are not, the arrows is what I want to illuminate, unless the bulbs in mine never worked?

did u swap it with led, i noe i did and it never lighted up the arrows, but im ok with that, i knoe there is a certain led to use to make the arrows light, but since i swap to the smt type leds instead of the regular leds, that is what happen.heres a pic of a regular blue led i put in.

loks pretty tacky that you only did some controls is LED, i mean whats the point in doing a half A JOB?

I'm not attacking you at all. If you look at Darkie3495's led swap, he did everything and it looks great. I just don't understand why you only changes some lights, like you did the a/c controls but not the 4wd switch and the dashboard, it's just seems unfinished IMO

to answer your question, I'm 98% sure you can't make the arrows lite up. The ones in mine don't light up and neither do the ones in my friends runner either.

u have to add one there, take it apart and solder one led bulb in there.

Yeah, the little details make the difference. Frankly, I don't think we should have to add LEDs to switches. They should have had it in the first place (like the window switches!!!).

seems like a hassle to me, I appreciate all the posts, and comments. I wish it came that way.
