Where are you located? I can't speak for the Classic forum, but in the 3rd Gen forum we tend to all get together in groups for wrenching parties from time to time. That has been a big help for me. I'm sure there are other member near you that would be willing to lend a hand. I'm in the process of a re-building the motor for my '00 right now. Once it's time to go back together I'll be loading up on beer and sending out the invite.
