We are moving back to the US after living in Canada. I have a 2003 4Runner LTD purchased in Canada, and will be importing it to the US. In spite of the fact that the US makes it expensive and a major PITA to do. We've imported my wife's Lexus using an auto importer, and we weren't happy with how they handled the speedometer change.
I called the local Toyota dealer about changing the speedometer in the 4Runner, and they informed me it was not legal. Shows how uninformed most dealers are.
We are in the Coeur d'Alene area of Idaho. Anyone have any suggestions regarding a good way to get this done?
