I live on the NE side of Indy. Havent been to Badlands yet but have been wanting to get out there. I climb/camp a lot in WV, TN, and KY. There are some awesome trails down around Daniel Boone National Forest which is only about 4 hrs away. I go very often, heading down 4/11-4/13 actually. Id definitely like to meet some other members and play in the rigs.

Wish I would have read this sooner. Just dropped the rig off for some mod goodies, Ive been trying to get out there for a bit. Always down to play in the rigs.... Anyone been to Redbird?

I've been to red bird a bunch. Always in my crawler though. Lots if good trails for a runner there.

I tend to roll down to KY when I have the free time. It looks like theres enough of us in the area to get a good sized group together sometime.

I'd be down for that. I've always wanted to check out the cliffty falls area in Madison also. My runner is stock other than the tires but I'm down to take it out.

Went to Attica this weekend in my 3rd gen runner since my crawler isn't finished. Had a great time and climbed a lot of stuff I didn't think a stick runner would do. We need to have a meet up sometime!

So looks like another thread revival but I'll be moving soon to the Indianapolis area from Phoenix probably in January. Anyone meeting up in Indiana? Only place I know to wheel is the badlands but I've never lived in Indiana. I'm up for any meet ups to wheels if anyone is still getting together when I get to Indy.

Since I'm new to Indiana, I don't know if there are local places to offroad. Is it just offroad parks or are there trails kind of scattered? I'm just looking to get out somewhere

Hey guys. Check out Indiana Overlanders and Midwest Overlanders groups on facebook. There's a lot more local action and plenty of fast responses there. It might be a while to get added this time of year if the admin isn't checking it for a few days.

I'm from Cincinnati, but spend quite some time in Indiana. I just recently put in a request via Facebook to join both the Midwest and Indiana Overlander's clubs (hopefully both will accept). Would love to get out and cruise with some folks some time (maybe this weekend if anything is going on). A photo of the rig is attached.
