It's hit and miss with them for me. I replaced my sway bar end links years ago with them. Lasted one year before rusted so bad the nut twisted the shaft in two. That's just insane in my book. So I was just being careful when it comes to parts as important like cam assemblies. Why folks always throwing shade at Moog? I do on their LBJ's their cam bolts are heavier duty than OEM and greasable. Just installed on 01 runner alignment guy says they hold up well.
I like it, that tread looks good. How much road noise does it give you?
Bet it was nice having rack on floor to replace bushings!
Was it a headache to put rack back together, You are the first person I've heard of doing it that way.
These tires, to be as aggressive as they are, are insanely smooth & quiet. There's some humm, but nothing compared to the last pair of brand new Cooper STT's I had.
I run STT's consider them quiet when new, are you saying D/C's better or worse than? Reason I ask is D/C's look good, new tires for me on the horizon.
Yes the Rack can be a pain in the butt, your good now for a while. Plus learned some tricks of the trade. You ever have any questions or need help get up with me.
You know of any apolstery shops you would use to recover your seats?
There is a couple on 80 in Pearl, I spoke to. Some others around greater Jackson area. Haven't found any in Madison.

It was actually aluminum... I haven't had a chance to see if I can get it yet. But if I can't, it sounds like it's not a big deal. I'm gonna try & snag it tonight. You don't have a spare ½ moon laying around do you? Ha! Can't get 1 in til Monday or Tuesday.Wes, how did it go with the chunk of rubber down the rabbit hole?
Haaaaaa! Not all women are careless, but it doesn't seem to be a priority to many. Especially the 1's in my family & female friends I've had. Thanks for the compliment.Great work on your truck. Hope I can keep mine up to par as you have. And not all women drive their vehicles carelessly

Well since she'll be sitting around the house not doing anything all summer, give her a honey - do list for the 4Runner and show her your tools.....She's been back together for several days now, I've driven her to & from the hospital several times. As far as I can tell, my leaks are nipped in the bud. I sprayed everything down that could be hit w/ brake cleaner to make sure all the old residue was eliminated. Much to my chagrin, the build will probably be placed on a temporary hold for the summer. A couple weeks ago, my wife jumped into the shallow end of her moms pool & broke her heel. So I'll be working a whole lot of OT... all to keep the bills paid the 2-3 months that she'll be outta work. Looks like a very strong possibility of surgery, so the fun police have officially arrived.
