Installation Shop in Southern California

Hey everyone, does anybody have experience or know of a good reputable shop in Southern California that could install a full OME lift? I already called Man-a-Fre and just wondering if there are any other out there that's comparable.

I had Big O tires install mine. Pretty straight forward. I was going to do it myself but couldnt get a jack. I got it aligned while it was there as well. 2 birds with 1 stone.

Javelin, how much did you pay for installation and alignment? Did you also order the parts there or brought it with you for installation only?

i would also like to know. i have my toytec 3'' ultimate lift sitting in my garage and now i am looking for a place to install it. any input would be awesome. i am in orange county!

Hey Sponger, I called Big O Tires (the Carson location) and they gave an approximate quote of $440.00 for the OME kit.

Let me know if you come across any other shops in SoCal.

I'm not sure if they do lifts, but try Firestone in Placentia, off of Yorba Linda ave. Try asking for Joel, he is the store manager @ (714) 993-7100.

I have done a lot of alignments and other tires stuff through him, great guy and will destroy the competition prices.

Again, i'm not a %100 they do lifts, but worth a shot.

Did you call the guy I told you to call over at A1 Auto?
There is also a shop that I used to use in Signal Hill....Herbs Automotive Herbs Automotive Talk to Rodney or Jake at Herbs. I wish I had the time man cause I would help you out for sure but I just can't right now.

Mine was about 400 to do the OME kit/alignment. I ordered the kit myself.

Thanks Javelin, that's a pretty good idea. Man-a-fre quoted me $540.00 w/out the alignment.

810moto, do you know how much Herb charges for lift kit installation? Hows the quality of their work with toyota trucks?

cmoney, I don't know how much they charge. Just call them and talk to Jake or Rodney. Both of them are hands down, great guys. They used to work on all of my shop truckss (14 of them) and never once had a problem. If you go on their website you will see that they all have lifted trucks. It's a pretty straight forward operation and I can't see it costing more than what you have been quoted from others. Plus on their website they have a coupon for an alignment as well.
Just tell them that Jason from Independent Electric that was in Signal Hill sent you up there.

Thanks Moto, i just picked up my truck from Herbs tonight, they did the whole lift including alignment for $365.00. That's a very reasonable price considering its a good amount of work. Will definitely go back to them if i need other services.

Sorry for being late. Toyota of Poway does full lift kit installations. Carlsbad Toyota started to sell rims and tires, but I know for a fact Poway does lift installation. Another place is AJ USA that is near Miramar, actually in Mira Mesa is more precise location. They started as a repair body work shop but they grew and now they offer lifts and performance parts ordering and installation as well. I have used them before.

I am deployed, and I'm catching the MOD bug while I'm out here...
