Installed Daystar 1" Front Spacer, CB, No Resonator, etc. Pics

I installed my 1" front spacer last morning and here is how it sits...

Stock Xreas suspension
2006 Sport
Daystar 1" front spacer
265/65/17 Michelin X-Radials

Also I removed the rock sliders...as of now, I am torn between keeping them off or on. What do you guys think? IMO, cosmetically, the truck looks a bit more lifted. Although, are there any issues with removing the rock sliders? Do they really serve a purpose other than a stepping stone?

Also tinted the tail lights and elimitated the resonator and added a straight black stainless steel pipe (it does sound a bit more throaty with the added volume). The last pic is for a CB mounting reference, just installed as well. No, it does not obstruct for foot/leg when driving. I leave the mic in the center console or glove box.

Looks good! Any idea how much lift you got with the Daystar spacer? It seems there are some conflicting numbers, just wondering what you got. Also, no harm with removing the stock tube steps. If you decide you like it without them and want to sell the tube steps, let me know as I'm wanting a set.

Sorry I forgot to post it, but I got 1.75" on the front driver and 1.5" on the front passenger. The difference might have to do something with my driveway. I will let you know if I plan on leaving the sliders off, They are flat black btw.

Lean back or Level

Im about to do the same, do you think it is level now? Leans back a bit? Drive any different? I was contemplating triming the spacers about 1/4 inch to give it less lift, do you think that would have been better?

I wouldn't change anything, we'll see in a week. The front is about 1/2" less in clearance (top of tire to bottom of well) than the back, so there is a slight rake. Not noticable from the naked eye. My friends were saying the front looks higher than the back...but numbers dont lie.

As for driving, the pilots view feels the same and there is no noticabable drive difference yet. I've just been driving on the roads though.

Nice! I was so happy after jig sawing off my resonator!

As far as the running boards/rock sliders. I was told that they, along with the mud flares, help against rocks & road dirt being tossed up your sides. But then my train of thought was if I get rid of the flares and boards and only have the rock sliders, they really don't do much for stopping the rain water dirt etc. anyway. So it just depends how often you are dealing with off roading around large rocks. Since we should be done with rain here in the Sacto area, I say leave 'em off and see if you notice a difference in cleanliness or any paint chipping.

Xreas was a 10 sec job, all you have to do is remove one of the mounting brackets to give your line slack. Look at J.C. site about installing a lift with Xreas. Yes I had to compress the spring, outside compressors. The 1" daystar spacers yield about 2" of lift. IMO that's level and anything more than a 1-1.25" spacer will yield too much...if leveling the rake is what you're trying to accomplish
