installed LR UCA

Well we instaled SPC adjustable upper arms in and what you know, didn't have the small washers in the box after starting. Had to call the help line do to something wasn't right while they were installed without torqueing.

Sorry can I have your address and we will send them to you, ( me) No, tell me what size they are suppost to be and I'll get them. Doesn't show them on there illastration diagram or directions. They said they will be changeing there instructions now.

Pictures below will show additional brackets to remove and shift to make thing easier not shown or told in there video.

In case it matters on make and model- 08, 4x4, sr5, v-6.
Remove both brake bracket line brackets, left and right side and make sure to spray bolt on UCA brake bracket with wd-40 as mine broke off.

The bracket under the battery box and the battery hold down bracket as you will need to lift the battery up to remove the bolt.




Remove the A/C line bracket and hose under it on the right side for bolt removal.


I didn't find any of this info on searches or instructions.

Interesting, I didn't have the bracket issues at all. Might be due to differences in V6 and V8.

Also, my instructions (which are the same for 03-09) showed the small washers. Weird.

Hey after you put these on was it horrible driving to the shop to get it realigned ? I inagine it throws everything out of wack .I wont have to go far, maybe 7 miles from my garage to the local tire shop, hope it isnt too bad.

you can get it fairly straight. With the lifts itll just make your camber a little out of wack. I drive about 5 miles to the dealer for alignment. Just go slower than usual.

No, wasn't bad, just push or pull your tire to a vertical possition and torque the top bolt. And as above stated take your time going to the shop.

Word of adviceon alignment, find a replable shop that knows how to work with these's type of arms. The guy at the BIG-O shop they had did mine got to specs but didn't understand to use the upper adjustable seting. That shop has been good to me and the manager is the one that usually does all my off road adjustments. I didn't know he wasn't there until after they took my rig in. I can tell it isn't right the way these uca's are supposed to be done. I had places to go, so will be going back in to get it done right by the way there design to be done. MY F/U.
