The design is ambidextrous so the same mount can work for both front seats on the 5th Generation 4Runner/Lexus GX460. The plastic foot caps WILL still work but you will need to Dremel out some clearances in the front to notch them if you choose to do so.

Just installed the Wits' End mount. I like it a lot. Currently I have a 1lb Amerex A620 Dry Extinguisher but I may go with a larger unit since there is a lot of space available. Well built mount with an easy install.

Upgraded to the larger Amerex B403T, 2.5lb Dry Chemical Class B C unit.

These guys or a distributor was at NW Overland Rally this year. He said it was clean, safe, can be stored on a hot car, and you can even spray people directly. He had little small cans but they make bigger ones. I think they were pretty expensive.

Not in Texas in the summer. Says no hotter than 110. Car interiors in the summer can get up to 120+, probably hotter in Arizona.
