installing cb and antenna

I'm installing a cb and antenna on my 85 does anyone have any good ideas where to put my cb r my antenna.. if u have any pics that would help too.. thank u.

In the dash under the stereo, or some people have installed really small ones in the ashtray opening.

Uh under the radio would be a sweet spot.. do u kno where most people install there antenna I got a 4 foot firestik.. there's not a lot of people wit 1st gen on this forum huh..

I have mine mounted on the rear bumper. It's not the best location to get maximum range from the radio, but I just use it when wheeling.

I mounted mine where the ashtray usually is and the antenna you can see in the pic. you can mount them just about anywhere depending on the bracket you get. mine is a 2nd gen obviously but the yours would be similar
