as stated in the other post on this topic, get the wire harness. best buy has them for 15 or 20 bucks. i got mine from crutchfield, and i think it was closer to 5 bucks. take your time, and solder all the connections. you can even heat shrink the wires if you wish, as you can do the wiring at a desk or work bench. then, jsut plug it into the factory harness. easy to remove if you should sell the rig as well, and you do nothing to the factory wires. a piece of advice though! when doing the harness deal, now is the time to splice into the lead wire for the power antennae if you have one. do it right off the harness you have buy, before the plug. run it to a toggle. this is helpful when using the cd player. otherwise, the antennae will always be up. i installed my head unit, ran all the amp cables, and had the thing back together in about 4 hours or so. i would say even a rookie can have a head unit in within 2 hours.
