Installing my Daystar 2.5/1.5 and Spidertraxx today....any tips?

i am not quite ready to do my DS yet, but was going to use this thread as my guide, note post #13.

I did install my Spidertrax a few weeks ago and it is pretty straight forward. If you don't have a torque wrench I would suggest getting one, just to be safe. Use the red thread locker and just make sure you check the nuts after a few days of driving.

Most important.....don't forget to post pics.

Pretty easy...just get a 5 foot 2x4 to pry the lower control arm down...but other than that pretty standard.

Use that post #13. It saved me a lot of trouble and time. Below are my experiences with the spidertrax and the daystar 2.5/1.5 install...

You guys suck. I am sick that i just bought those new tires a couple of months ago. I am afraid my truck will look funky with the smaller tires if i do the lift now........:smashputer:

I don't have pics at the moment cause we were scrambling at the end with losing day light. But it looks very nice. Its sitting pretty high. I measured 37.25 in the front and 38.75 in the rear from the bottom of the fender to the ground.

The truck is on 265/70/17 Terra grapplers that are a little over inflated.

I'll get a better look tomorrow and get some pics up. Thanks.

Looks good! I don't think those tires look too small. Of course going from very little space to the right amount of space in the wheel well will make them look smaller.
