Installing Rear Bumper - What am I missing?

I bought my 85 4Runner without a rear bumper and need to figure out what I'm missing in the assembly to hang it... Thanks for any help you can provide.

...Just realized my 7 year old has one sock on in this picture. Don't ask, I'm lucky the kid has pants on when he heads out.

I got ah 87 4runner and mines look like this.
The tow hitch is the bottom metal bar and the "L" mount that holds the top metal is the bumper. Your mount you have looks different from mines. If that helped you any. Let me know.

This is the second picture its the bottom part, that holds the bumper.
I think the holes you have on the bumper is where the bolts go for the mount, thats if i'm right.

mine look the same as what Munkymag posted.... so it looks like your going to need brackets & bolts.

at least you have help..... All I have is a large goose egg + a laceration on my head & a massive headache :dizzy: from my smittybuilt tube bumper falling on me tonight... (trying to mock it up & figure out what Ill need to mount it to the T4R since it was on a nissan pu)

Believe I have a set of brackets from a stocker in the scrap pile out back. If you can't find any local and are willing to pay for shipping, I'd be happy to throw them in a box for you.

Thanks for your help Munkymag... the pics are a big help. This proves my brackets are obviously from an after market bumper from some point. Nice Runner BTW.

Yeah, I'm very lucky. We have (3) awesome boys and they are all really interested in following me around the house and especially in the garage... that's the good stuff. good luck with your bumper!
