Installing Shrockworks on my 2014 TE with KDSS

I did my install in 45 min with one person. I'm not gonna lie I was terrified of kinking the kdss lines, it's not easy to pull the lines away from the frame.
I ended up loosely bolting the front mount, then used my car jack on the rear of the slider to slowly lift the slider into place. I used my free hand to pull the kdss lines away from the frame. Easy as pie!

Cool thanks for the extra info. I didn't realize you had to really pull the KDSS lines away from the frame. Is there a decent amount of tension? I think someone said they had to bend the supports. Did they have to bend the supports b/c of the tension?
However thick the piece that goes up against your frame on the sliders is, that's how far you gotta pull the kdss lines away.
See the little stainless brackets that go around the kdss lines and bolt into the frame, that's probably what they were saying they bent, mine did too, they're easy to bend.
I found it easiest to use the jack to slowly lift the slider into place. It eliminates the chance of someone holding it to make a wrong move and bend one of the kdss lines.

Mine are OPOR sliders, but I knew the struggle you guys were referring to in the kdss lines. I knew they mounted in the same spot, but I'm not sure if the shrockworks only have two mounting points.... Oops
I took some pictures yesterday, I've checked them this morning and the majority were blurry, so I've attached those that where good.
The sliders were installed in September 2012 by the previous owner(I own the truck for a month now) and he went to the dealer for installation. They did not drills the optional holes as per ShrockWorks instructions, which provide better pictures than mine. They still looks pretty decent after 2 salty Canadian winters and some lights trails (PO did some touch up).

Unless they make a KDSS specific one that is now a full plate at the back. That upper plate is where I needed the longer bolt to go through the base plate and that diagonal brace into the frame. And those 2 rusty sheet metal looking things in his lower pictures are the blind nuts I was talking about.
I just finished installing the Schrockworks sliders on my '14 TEP. Wasn't that bad, took me about 2 hours total, working by myself.
Gotta' say the tips and tricks posted here helped a ton, as I knew what to expect.
After reading about all the potential issues when you remove the strap for the gas tank, I ran my fuel down as recommended until the light came up (ended up still having 4 gallons in the tank). Then I placed a socket on top of my floor jack, and gently inserted it into the hole in the skid plate right next to the strap you're removing. I only lifted it enough to contact the gas tank. That way when I removed the strap I had effectively pinned the tank into position, so the strap didn't move.
Sorry the pix don't line up with the text, it's my first post with pix and I don't know how to attach them at a specific point.
Couple of things that will help you on the install - use the box they ship the sliders in to support them during the install. I added a couple of 2x4's on each end and it positioned the sliders almost perfectly (meaning the holes lined up nicely)!
I used the trick posted earlier and used some shims to push the KDSS lines away from the frame, that allowed the slider to slide right in behind them against the frame.
Really wasn't as bad as I expected. Turned out nice, I'm very happy with these.

Nice to see another gray TEP with these on. That's what my 4R will look like and it looks great.
Still waiting on the sliders even though they told me they'd ship this week. More tidbits like this are very helpful! Thanks!
EDIT: Just got shipping notification for my sliders. Wow talk about the last thing they do for the day! Looking forward to getting them! Woohoo!!!

Took the plunge and ordered them! Now I just have to wait...
Awesome! Hopefully they're as amazing as everyone else says they are. Mine should arrive tomorrow and I'll be installing them this weekend. Will try to post pics when I get them.
Quick question guys and I need help fast. This is a noobie installing these things. I'm installing the sliders right now.
I'm using the 3/8 bolts. When using the lock washers, smooth washers, and stick nuts. Is the order of putting them on from the outside in like this?
Bolt on the outside, then lock washer, then smooth washer, then the frame and the slider, then on the other side of the frame is the stick nut flying flush against the backside of the frame? Did I get that right? I'm doing the passenger side first since it seems easier.
EDIT: Actually a follow up question and I realize this may sound stupid. But I realized you can't put the stick nut on the other side of the frame. Then how do you use the stick nuts???
