I just installed a trailer hitch on my '95 4runner, now I have to do the wiring. What is the best way to go about this. Do I have to access both tail lights to hook up the 4 wire flat connector? Or is one side the master side and all I need to do is splice the colored wires together on the one side? Also, what is the best, most unobtrusive way to run the wires to the trailer and the best place to make the splice? Thanks.
