Thank you. I don't know man. These lights were a lot work.
To answer some questions previously asked about the high beam function. Yes the BD Squadron Pro's are directly connected to the factory high beam connector and function as high beams. I don't use high beams in town so I'm not really worried about blinding other drivers. Most of there use is road trip night driving out in the middle of no where. Maybe the occasional quick flash to let the car that just cut me off I was there.

D2S 4.0's with XB 5500k bulbs , 100MM Morimoto XB switchback halos and Baja Designs Squadron Racer edition spots throwing flames. :flamethrwoer2:
I'm waiting for the release of the VLED Triton v6 to replace my DRL/turn signal bulb to use in conjunction with the halo's.
I won't post output shots for two reasons:
1) phone pics don't do this justice
2) the passenger mounting bracket that I made is slightly crooked and I know [MENTION=5149]riceandpho[/MENTION] will tear me a new one for posting imperfect retrofits :jump::sorry:
I also realize the halos are not perfectly centered and I don't care if the gash (from the grinder) to the right of the projector is visible under the halo, but this was not the easiest of mods and I'm stoked to finally have it completed.
My previous lights were the D2S 2.0 with 4500k bulbs. The 2.0's were a huge upgrade from stock, but these blow them out of the water. Definitely worth the hours it took to build.

you can still fix it by file-ling the screw holes and make it rotatable. its good you use the new stuff, man if you did the oem d2s bulbs, itll blow those out the water too.

I was poking fun at ya. I've always respected the knowledge you have on retro's and appreciate the feedback.
The OEM bulbs are better than the morimoto's? Can you post a link or give me more info? I haven't heard/read anything about this before.

on bulbs, the aftermarket stuff is getting close in quality, the morimoto is close to the quality to oem, but for the bang for buck its hard to beat. wait for a sale and try the osram cbi or nightbreakers. i think they changed the name for it , but it just a different. i have tried the morimoto stuff on my first retro. it wasnt as good back then, so i just stayed oem bulbs, but im boosted with 50w ballast.
warmer color helps during wet roads, i swap back and forth depending on my mood.

I didn't realize Osram was OEM. I've heard they're legit. I'll have to take a look at them.

yea osram or philips.
too bad they do have alot of fake bulbs from ebay. got to purchase these at theretrofitsource or there vendors. still better than paying over 100 a bulb at the stealership. your paying about 85-100 a pair for the standard. the prices had been lower now with there cbi and nightbreakers, i remember paying about 185 for it, now its at 125. much better to get them this up coming sale, maybe haloween or thanksgiving.
