Instrument cluster removal

Anyone have any info on removing it? I've already tried a search to make the forum nazis happy and I've found people have have posted pics of clusters already removed. I have a tinted lens I want to install and need to know how to get the cluster out.

Changing Color

Excuse me for bringing up an old thread but I just registered and can't post a new thread. I've been searching through the threads and I've seen many post about the awful amber lighting used in the instrument cluster. I just bought a 2013 4Runner SR5 and I would like to 1) change the orange lettering and 2) possibly change the lighting. I did read in the forum that the lettering is "painted" on from the back. Has anyone successfully removed the orange color so that colored LEDs can be added? If so, how is it done and if there's already a thread about it just point me to it.
