Intake Silencer Mod feeler...

Hey fellas, looks like I might be able to source some fiberglass tubing that has a temp rating of 238* for the Intake Silencer Mod.

Though, I have to buy a good amount of the tube in one purchase. So I though I would build a few of these.

I wanted to gauge whether there would be anyone interested in them before I waste my time.

Edit:

1/4: I think I could get them in hand for around 30.00 - 40.00.

1/5: I found some tubing that is rated up to 500*, so there should be no issue with this temp rating. The price point should end up being about the 40.00 end of the above range.

250* would be assurance, but i don't ever see the intake ever reaching that.
an intake shouldnt be that hot, but the exhaust manifold below it gets way hotter! it could be a problem when idling or sitting in a parking lot after a highway run to the store. that thought makes me think you need a higher temp rating. just my $.02.

I'd be interested, but also concerned about the temps. It's the underside that would get really hot and for the S/C crowd we have even higher operating temps than NA engines.
