Road force balance with the lug centric adapter?Check the rear drums/ inside wheel for fluid. If your diff breather is clogged, you may have blown out the bearing seals.
I have been chasing a vibration for 3 months. Sway bar bushings-check, steering rack bushings- check, tires are less than 5k miles/ balanced - check.
I have gear lube on mine so this is my next step. I have/ need to replace more crap on the the 99k 4runner than my 240K Taco that has simply been abused by me for almost 200k.
Good (&^%^& luck !:frusty:
Have you greased the 8 driveshaft zerks? greased again? then re greased? Mobil 1 synthetic grease nlgi no 2 | IH8MUD Forum 6th post down. If it has not been tended to for a long time the seal around the slip yoke may be blocked by gunk (soap which remains as the the grease is used up) which has hardened, thus preventing the new grease from pushing the old grease out. People warn of blowing out the seals if overfilled when the suspension compresses. I assume this is the result pumping the slip yokes full after waiting too long and allowing the blockage to develop. I've spent many hours dealing with this, including using a heat gun and grade 1 grease (which is less viscous), and have begun to get the grease purging past the seal. Not ribbons of grease as pictured in the link, but it has started flowing.
