Interest in a DIY product line

count me in for another that's interested in a rear bumper kit.. Would like to see an option for non-dimpled plating. I think that would take more time out for you guys so you do have to do it yourself.

Also maybe an option for quarter panel protection to be able to be welded to the sides.
 
So far, quite a few for a rear bumper!! Hopefully they can get us one soon!!

I even contacted another company, just to see if they would sell me theirs pre-bent so I could DIY it, but didnt get a response back on that. So I am anxiously waiting to see the outcome of this one!!

Actually, probably going to be interested in a front and rear DIY bumper. Ill just need to sell my front first.

My computer here at work wont let me access your site to view that bumper, but from a pic I saw on the forums here, yes, im pretty sure that is the one im wanting!
 
If you guys created a ready to install rear bumper that could compete with Savage Offroad you may get some serious traction. I think there are a lot of people looking for a sub-$500 rear bumper. :cheers:

I just purchased their rear tube bumper for $450 and am picking it up in person.

ODL did not offer a competing product (style, price, weight) so I had no choice but to go with Savage Offroad which is also in the Riverside area. I bought the rear tube bumper without a tire swing away. It is a simple cheap rear bumper that looks good.


*** I am not really sure what the advantage is of this thread concept. If I understand correctly, I would pay ODL to ship me the metal (for ~ $500) in a pre-cut state and I would weld all the plates together therefore saving money?

Just my 2 cents. Look forward to reading more about it though.

The tube/hybrid looks great.
hopefully the diy system would be upgradeable so we could start out with the basic bumper and add parts later as funds/needs allow.
 
I'd be interested in the DIY front bumper. Is there any possibility of having the round fog light holes cut as squares instead? (thinking Rigid Industries Dually's instead of round fogs....)

+1 for a group buy... it would probably force me on board. haha
 
We wouldn't be able to change the lights Butttttttt It would not be to difficult for you to send us a patter on the lights profile... We cut an extra piece that you would drop in to give you the square... Take your time welding and grinding it in and BOOM you have a square hole
