Alright guys, I have had these bad boys on for almost a week and I can definitely feel gains from the short tube headers.
In my mind, I expected them to loud and throaty.... But my perception was all wrong. From what I learned about DTH headers, in comparison to OEM, the new DTH tubes are all equal lengths and go into to collector at the perfect pulse, therefore less droning and back pressure.
They are actually quieter than stock but I can feel my truck get pulled forward as I push my foot to the peddle. Not in the sense jerky, but the power to the wheels. When gassed, I can feel the engine come alive; IT CAN FINALLY BREATH. In comparison to OEM, we were so restricted.
DTH has yet to send me the DYNO gains but from what he has told me, there is a gain of 35ft pounds of torque. The highest gains were from low to mid range not so much high end. I believe he told me there is a gain of top end hp of 12.
Here are some pictures of them installed:
From the side where the coilovers are/ behind the UCA.
As you can see, it is welded into the original CAT.

I was originally going to post a video with sound difference, but it is actually quieter.
The truck also has NOT thrown any codes. I was expecting the some type of O2 code but have not received anything.
My personal option is: This is how our truck should have came out of production. It feels soooo much smoother and responsive. This is how our v8 should feel.
These are well worth it especially since our V8 headers are prone cracking and rusting. Plus OEM cost just as much and may crack again...
