Interest in roof light bar mounts?

Since i have made the mounts for my LED light bar, i've had a few people ask me to make some so i've been thinking about having some made up. These would be laser cut and probably CNC bent or possibly just laser cut and welded together.

Here is the ones i made for my truck. I threw these together in a afternoon so the product for sale would have a much better fit and finish

Any interest in a set of these? It would probably be made for a 40 inch Rigid bar but i'm going to try and make them fit as many as possible around that same size.

Ballpark price point? I could be interested. Most bars look like 40-42" so tweaking the mount an inch shouldn't be a huge deal as long as you don't build it out of 1/4" haha

1/4" fits in the gutters though! lol

2 #14 self tapping screws per side is what i used for mine. There is 2 layers of metal there so its solid

Gonna try and keep the price down for sure but i have see what the laser cutter comes back with for a cost. Looks like there is some interest so i'll go ahead get it drawn up. These should also be the same for 95-04 Tacomas.

I just looked at a light bar that had 4 or 5 tabs on it for lights. It mounted pretty much in the same place...believe It was $109 if I remember correctly.

I would be very interested in one of yours. Let us know when you get a price. Also, I think someone else mentioned this...how did you run your wiring? Any issues with wind noise? Doesn't look like it would...pretty low stance!?!

Could they be made to fit a 44" light bar? That size bar fits the roof perfectly and would probably be the length I'd choose.

I agree, lowering it would look superb! I think the flat horizontal part needs to be a little more flush to body so it doesn't look out of place. Are you worried about it weakening over time? Maybe throwing a couple small gussets on it wouldn't be a bad idea. I also think the idea of the mount coming out at an angle instead of straight up and down. I know that may require you to start all over again though and considering you've already drilled holes to mount them, probably not an ideal thing to do.

I really like the looks of these...but I agree, if you could get the light down tighter to the roof line it would look even better. Also, it might help with wind noise.

Oh man, I would love to run a roof light on my Tundra... Would you be able to make custom ones??

I agree with the post above, if you make the streamline you would end up selling quite a few I imagine.
