Interesting 4th gen specs / differences

I've been looking at pdf files of various brochures, manuals, and magazine articles searching for turning radius of my 05 V8 2WD Limited.

Along the way I found fuel capacities listed as 19.1 gal and 23 gal in different Toyota publications. Magazines say 23. I'm pretty sure I put 21 gal in my 4R once...so 23 is probably correct, I'd say I'm 99% sure it's 23. What do you think ?

Turning circle is spec'd at 37.4 ft and 38.0 ft Now I'm wondering how turning circle / turning radius is calculated ? Need to hunt down a diagram someplace.

And gas mileage numbers (who made up these optimistic numbers?):
city/hwy (v8) 19/25 and another toyota spec sheet says 18/22 one spec sheet says v6 and v8 mileage is the same.
(my current actual is 15 city /19 hwy, yes it was a couple mpg better before ethanol so I suppose the published figures are close enough)

Turning radius I'm not sure maybe it in the brochures, I forget. And lastly the gas mileage I nomally see posted for the 4runner (v8) is about 16/19 which is on par with what I am able to get.

I've put 24 gallons in my 2008 T4R when it's bone dry. The manual lists 23, but there's an additional gallon in there somewhere (the filler neck, etc...).

I get 16 in the city and 20 on the highway. 4WD V8.

yes, that's the brochure that says v6 and v8 mileage is the same at 18/22 city/hwy
