Interior led light flicking? Trying to help a friend...

I recently did an install for a customer for the lift kits I sell, and it came out great. Attaching a pic as it came out awesome.

Anyway, she told me her interior light flickers like a disco. It started on the right side, then does it on the left side. She pulled off the clear cover and it's all leds, no way to change a bulb.
Does the whole thing need to be replaced to fix this?? Trying to advise as I don't have the truck anymore to look at it myself.

The LEDs are plugin replacements for the original bulbs. Replace the LEDs. They were probably sourced from Ebay or the like. This a known problem with cheap LEDs. Been there done that myself.

Oh! You know, I was wondering when she told me they were leds, and I didn't think 4Runners came with those.... So, they come with BULBS originally for the interior lights...? front and rear I assume.

Change the bulbs. Just be careful popping the lens off.

Thanks! Just talked to her. Yea, she bought the truck used and it seems whoever had it first did this and they've been flicking ever since!!
