interior lighting switching

May be a stupid question, but this is the first vehicle that i have owned that doesnt light up when you open the door. Is there a switch somewhere on the dash or some special programming? :shrug:

There are four at least: one right near the sunglass holder above your head in the driver seat; one in the overhead dome in the passenger area; two on the rear hatch.

What i meant, when i open the doors, why wont the interior lights come on??

Make sure the dome
Light switch is on "door". Theres also a switch near the map lights (sliding) slide it They should now come on.

LOL! I feel stupid now! Thanks for pointing that out......i guess i assumed that was an on/off switch and if i left it on the battery would run down.

I think you must first check all the wiring and connection of the electrical parts of your car.

check the blinker fluid as well.
