I'm curious to see what people have done with their various switching needs. There's a panel to the left of the steering wheel, some spaces in the center, lots of open space to cut up. Who's done what? Let's see photos!

From my thread...

Bought some OEM looking switches on ebay (ppp_2009) to run the 500FFs and some rear flood lights. After researching this a bit more, I found that these switches are basically a FJ defroster switch that's been relabeled. The diagram (img from source) isn't quite correct as 2-6 is also switched, but this is irrelevant for my purposes.

  • backlit, the light emblem, akin to the center console
  • has an illuminated indication light when depressed
  • you can replace the bulbs to match whatever color your dash is
  • its push button akin to 99+ center console
  • perfect fit in the dash blanks
  • 90980-10797 is the Toyota connector number.
  • Inserts can be found at Ballenger Motorsports at reasonable prices. Ballenger is so awesome for car connectors. You want Sumitomo CONN-11856 female terminals 0.5-1.25mm (20-16 AWG), this is the 'toyota' flat insert.
